# ROLLBACK

`ROLLBACK` aborts the current [transaction](https://preview.materialize.com/materialize/40269/markdown-docs/sql/begin/index.md#details) and rolls back
all changes made by the transaction.

ROLLBACK;
```

## Details

Rolls back the current transaction, discarding all changes made by the transaction.
